The words written here are based on my fundamental belief that we are at all times impacting and being impacted by the world in which we live. We are always shaping and being shaped by our family, school, neighborhood, workplace, city, state, country. I name the individual structures because it is vital to see the sphere to which we belong, and know they are all intertwined. We have been taught to believe we must accept the world as it is, and work within the parameters into which we were born. That couldn’t be farther from the truth.
